Bianca Mackiewicz LMSW-C
If you’ve landed here, you may be looking for a therapist who feels real—someone who can hold depth, complexity, and honesty without making therapy feel stiff or one-size-fits-all.
I’m Bianca Mackiewicz, a licensed clinical social worker and the founder of Root to Fruit Therapy & Wellness. I work with adults across Michigan, and I’m especially passionate about supporting neurodivergent adults, BIPOC, LGBTQIA+ clients, and people who have spent a long time feeling misunderstood, overlooked, or pressured to keep pushing through.
My style is warm, direct, relational, and thoughtful. I’m interested in getting to the root of what’s going on rather than just managing symptoms on the surface. That might mean exploring anxiety, burnout, masking, identity, relationships, self-trust, or the ways you’ve learned to survive in environments that weren’t built with you in mind.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Michigan, and I’ve spent the past seven years supporting people in a range of settings. My background includes work with survivors of sexual assault, individuals navigating financial hardship, and families under significant stress. Those experiences continue to shape the grounded and nuanced way I show up in therapy.
I believe therapy should feel like a space where you don’t have to perform, over explain, or shrink yourself to be understood. My goal is to offer a space that feels affirming, honest, and useful. Where we can make sense of what’s happening and work toward change that actually fits your brain and your life.
